The following areas (Venezia, Burano, Campomulo-Marcesina; Campolongo-Vezzena, Lavarone and Levico Terme) are embargoed to all teams from 8/7/2011.


All areas described are subject to full embargo according to IOF Rules 14.3 and 14.4, with the exception of n°4 "Lavarone", where teams may travel through public roads and stay in hotels.
 
That means that in all the other embargoed areas apart from Lavarone, teams are not allowed to enter by any means, or to stay in hotels included in those areas.

Some of embargoed areas are still included on previous orienteering maps.

All orienteering maps which have been published in the past, covering part of the embargoed areas, will be published on the official web site of WOC2014, when Bulletin 1 will be released.
